Welcome to the Penwortham Bridge Club website.
Penwortham Bridge Club is affiliated to the EBU via the Lancashire Bridge Association. We play at Howick House, Penwortham, just outside Preston, Lancashire. You can access a location map by clicking on "Directions" on the leftside Menu.
The Club hosts two Duplicate Bridge evenings, on Mondays and Thursdays. Members are asked to be seated and ready for a 7.05 pm start. Normal finishing time is around 10.15 pm.
Visitors are welcome on any evening except for Competition and Party evenings. Please check " Visitors" and "Club Calendar" menu links on the left for further information. We do not cater for a large group of visitors turning up unannounced.
The Bridge Club offers a friendly environment for the enjoyment of an evening's duplicate bridge, so is not best suited to those who are ultra-competitive or dedicated to the accumulation of Masterpoints. Penwortham Bridge Club does not award Masterpoints.
Tea or coffee and biscuits are included in the Table money.
